Dapp Culvert Project
This culvert project, on a local road just north of Dapp, Alberta, consisted of the removal of an existing 2500 mm x 1750 mm x 15.8 m corrugated horizontal ellipse culvert and the installation of a 4826 mm x 3429 mm x 29.261m corrugated horizontal ellipse. The upstream end required the installation of a concrete end treatment including headwall and cutoff wall.

The project proved to be challenging as the excavation was soft saturated flowing silty sand. Site dewatering was conducted through the installation of sumps and perforated pipe.

Thanks to the Project Team for a job well done!
