Fleet, Shop & Equipment
Our ever-expanding fleet of trucks and heavy construction equipment is housed adjacent to our newly constructed repair facility. One of the keys to our success is our intra-corporate Equipment Maintenance and Procurement Program which uses a pro-active approach to equipment management. The objective is to complete construction projects for our clients in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.
Carmacks has the ability to haul equipment quickly from one job to another and proudly participates in the "Partners Compliance" (PIC) program. Participation in this program is granted to haulers with exemplary safety records only. Besides the fact that Carmacks must comply with all the safety aspects of the program, time is saved by utilization of the PIC Program automated system in the vehicles which allow them to bypass Alberta's 12 vehicle inspection stations.
Daily machine servicing is completed using our fleet of self-contained lube and fuel trucks, which have on-board storage areas for used oil and lubricants in order to protect our environment.
Backed by our fleet of mobile mechanical repair vehicles and access to major components and parts, Carmacks excels in our availability of equipment and the reduction of downtime.

As Carmacks continues to grow so does the need for equipment and the people required to keep us “up and running”. Carmacks offers the opportunity to mechanics, truck drivers and service support people to either provide services as an employee or a contractor. We also support the apprenticeship program and are always willing to consider new applicants.
